Always love the food at Houlihan's. The menu has a good variety and the drinks are fine. The wait staff usually performs satisfactorily, but I've had one or two waiters (maybe they're gone now) who could improve their demeanor a little. But overall, the experience is on par (if not slightly better) with other chain restaurants.
This restaurant was quite the surprise. I had never been there before nor have I heard of it. I only went because of my sister's birthday dinner. But I came in New and I left with that place possibly being my new favorite restaurant. They have a Tuscan Chicken pasta dish. Since I wasn't eating meat at the time I subbed it for salmon. OMG it has a gift from the heavens to my palate!!!
Honestly, could have been better. Service was decent, food was prepared well but horrifyingly under-seasoned. Actually shocked, as I've never witnessed such lack if flavor at other locations. Perhaps a product of the massive downsizing, or the individual location's chefs.
My wife and I go there to eat all the time and we also do take-out alot. Our favorite restaurant by far. Food is great and the waiters and other staff are so friendly and accommodating. Try the early bird from 3:30 - 5:30 Monday through Friday. Prices are great. Meals include soup or salad, entree, dessert as well as a beverage for a low price!
Enjoyed wonderful dinner tonight! Party of 4, Delicious appetizers and dinners. 7 year old in our party said she wants to go back to the place we ate at tonight for her birthday celebration. Waiter Jay was courteous, friendly and smiled all the time. Terrific service from him.
